Tourism If you like to be "off the beaten path," you'll enjoy visiting Presque Isle County. With only 14,000 residents, there's lots of space to explore and enjoy! Much of the county, including the Lake Huron shoreline, is part of the Mackinaw State Forest and open to the public. We don't have man-made amusement parks, nor do we have any casinos. We do have fresh air, clean waters in which to swim, fish and boat, an abundance of wildlife to enjoy, and friendly people to welcome you into our community while you visit. Bring yourself, or bring the family. We offer vacation opportunities from which you won't need to "recover" as well as the chance to run yourself ragged, if you so desire. Refresh yourself and return home renewed. Stay for a few days, a few weeks or the whole season. Thanks for visiting Presque Isle County. We're glad you're here! |
