Although, Ma and Pa Knaebe work the orchard year
'round, they open the Appleseed Mercantile and the farm to the community
on Labor Day weekend and close Thanksgiving weekend. In between, you are
invited to come out and see what's going on, sample and purchase apples
and cider, as well as take home some of the best doughnuts (pumpkin
glazed and apple cinnamon are so yuummy!), pies, and other baked goods
made from scratch in the kitchen in the barn. The Appleseed
Mercantile also offers an assortment of gifts, jams, salsas, and kitchen
gadgets. |

There are lots of activities for the entire
family, including an animal farm. Tours of the orchard are
available to groups on a reservation basis. |
